Dan Wilson, a native son of Ventura, California, has a lifetime of musical experiences and adventures that have created his unique approach to every style of music that he plays. Highly regarded as an intuitive multi-instrumentalist with a rhythmic flare, Dan is an accomplished guitarist, mandolinist, bassist, and 6-string banjo player. His roots are a diverse melting pot of bluegrass, newgrass, folk, rock, rhythm and blues, and open tuning styles. His new release, "All of Me", is a emotional compilation of instrumental compositions written over many years. The recording process took several years, using both analog and digital equipment with the help of a few great engineers: Roy Jones, Meta Street Studio; Randy Kizer, 20/20 Studios; Richard Fowle. Audio International; and Jeff Evans, Zircon Skye. Keep your eyes open for "All of Me"... you won't be disappointed. Over the years he has played with several fine musicians, including: Pat Flynn, Pat McGrath, Martin Young, John McEuen, Rincon Ramblers (Alan Thornhill, Jon Wilcox, Phil Salazar, and Bill Flores), The Tatters, Bud Bierhaus, Kate Wolf, Danny Wheetman, Jonathan McEuen, Big Mama Thornton, Chris Hillman, Jim Monahan, Lee Rollag, Jim Christie, David West, Cyrus Clarke, Bill Griffin , Tom Ball & Kenny Sultan, Brantley Kearns, Pat Cloud, Frank Reckard, Rick Shea, Frankie Fuchs, and on an Arlo Guthrie/Woody Guthrie project.
